Scout of the Church of Um Al-Zennar

The scouting group of the Church of Um Al-Zennar was established in 1990, with the founding of the Mar Petros Brass Band. In 2005, the scouting activities began, leading to the formation of the troop's various branches, including the Cubs, Scouts, Advanced Scouts, and the Rover Clan. The brass band and scouting activities continued until 2011, when they were halted due to the war. In 2014, the group resumed its musical and scouting endeavors.

The brass band has participated in numerous religious and national events, with notable contributions including:
- The Feast of the Assumption Festival at the Church of Um Al-Zennar in Homs
- The Feast of St. Elias Festival in Firouza
- The St. George Brass Band Festival in Zaidal
- The annual musical and scouting funeral procession on Good Friday in the Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood of Homs
- The annual Christmas musical and scouting parade in the Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood of Homs
- The "Christmas of Joy" Festival in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood of Homs

In 2017, a new musical group, "Dozan Ensemble," was founded by members of the scouts, incorporating various instruments including percussion, string, and wind instruments. This ensemble has participated in several events both within Homs and beyond, on the diocesan and interfaith levels. Some of its significant performances include:
- The graduation ceremony of Ghassania High School in Homs, affiliated with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese
- A concert as part of the Cultural Medical Week at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Homs
- A performance at the Tartus Museum for the International Day of Peace under the patronage of the Governor of Tartus
- A Christmas concert at the Cultural Center in Homs
- Several musical performances during the Feast of the Assumption Festival at the Church of Um Al-Zennar.
